Cenacolo Community

Community Cenacolo, founded by Mother Elvira Petrozzi, for those suffering from addiction to drugs and alcohol.  Since the opening of the Mother House in 1983, 20,000 people have been helped and today there are over 70 community houses around the world.  There are separate houses for men and women with some houses for those who have young children.  The life in Community is based on work, companionship and prayer. Every nationality and faith (or none) are welcome. There are no charges – the Cenacolo relies on God’s Providence. Each house is run by recovered addicts and they are as self sufficient as possible.  Their UK base is Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Kendal.

Meetings take place in Liverpool, at the Blessed Sacrament Shrine, Dawson Street, Liverpool 1, on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm – 9pm. The meetings are run by parents whose children have recovered from addiction by the Grace of God and through the Cenacolo experience.
