The Society works to facilitate the frequent use of the Extraordinary Roman Rite. Such Masses are celebrated according to the Missale Romanum (1962) under the Motu Proprio `Summorum Pontifcum’ issued by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007, which provides for its more widespread use in accordance with the principles of the Motu Proprio. Masses are notified to members, publicised in parishes and the Catholic press.
