Ongoing Formation in the Faith

A Year For Mission

In January and February 2016, we organised a series of four talks based on an expression of Pope Francis: Jesus Christ is the Face of God’s Mercy. Frs Nick Kern, David Long and Barbara Davies explored the mystery of Redemption, reflecting on the life of Christ as the incarnation of mercy and on the Church’s on-going experience of this in the Communion of Saints.

The Department will be offering a new series of 4 reflections in January/February 2017, on Bishop Mark’s pastoral theme: A Year for Mission. There will be an opportunity to keep this theme in mind in the catechesis over the coming year.

Transcripts of the talks are available here.
