Clergy Education & Training Fund

Candidates for priestly formation spend around 6 years at Seminary.  Training is also undertaken by men wishing to become Permanent Deacons in Parishes.  But learning and education for our priests is a life-long ongoing process.  Training for Seminarians, Deacons and Clergy involves considerable expense – it costs around £30,000 a year (£80 per day) to train a Seminarian!  The Clergy Education & Training Fund seeks to help meet these costs.

Your donation helps support the training of a new generation of Priests – in every sense it is an investment in the Church’s future life and mission.

Thank you for your support.
