Year of Prayer 2024
In preparation for the 2025 Jubilee Year ‘Pilgrims of Hope’, 2024 has been designated a Year of Prayer.
The Holy Father announced its launch on January 21st, 2024. Dioceses are invited to promote initiatives to remind people of the centrality of both individual prayer and community prayer.
“I am happy to think that the year preceding the Jubilee event, 2024, will be dedicated to a great ‘symphony’ of prayer. First of all, to recover the desire to be in the presence of the Lord, to listen to him and adore him.” (Pope Francis 11th February 2022)
