On July 12th  Secondary School students from around the Diocese, gathered together at the Cathedral in Shrewsbury with Bishop Mark,  to celebrate their annual Mass. It was a beautiful day and the Cathedral basked in glorious sunshine as the students assembled before and after Mass in the newly constructed Cafe terraces at the Cathedral. Bishop Mark and Canon Jonathan made everyone very welcome and  the celebration of the Mass was a very fitting conclusion to the Academic Year. Students participated in leading the music, readings and prayers and by presenting artistic representations of their School’s Mission statements at the altar. For many students this would have possibly been their first visit to the Cathedral in Shrewsbury, hopefully it won’t be their last.
