Are you able to help?

Thank you so much to everyone who has continued to donate to the Diocese of Shrewsbury throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to your generosity we have been able to continue the support to clergy, Parishes, schools and charitable organisations.

As a Diocese we have implemented new strategies for our financial collections because of the challenges of the pandemic. These new ways of giving, rather than the standard collection baskets, have opened up a wonderful opportunity for us to maintain a steady steam of income whilst physical collections were suspended. This online giving system will remain in place.
Whilst donations continue to come in we appreciate many of our parishioners may be struggling financially and we pray they are getting the support they need. Please be assured there is no expectation to give.

Donate by Standing Order or Cheque

If you would like to request that a Standing Order is posted to you, please send the Planned Giving Team an email request. If you would like to make a donation by Cheque, please make this payable to Diocese of Shrewsbury and send it to the following address;

Protecting your Privacy

A record of your personal information and donations will be held by the Diocese of Shrewsbury and stored securely on the Diocese’s database. We comply with data protection and marketing legislation and the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice. We do not transfer your data to third parties to use for their own marketing or fundraising purposes.

The Diocese will use your details to administer your gifts. This may include sharing your information with external organisations working on our behalf such as IT support companies, or when required by law (e.g. to claim Gift Aid).
