What we do

The Christian Unity & Dialogue commission supports parish and diocesan ecumenism, hosts the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, works with the Council of Churches and equivalent bodies, and supports inter-faith friendship and dialogue across our towns and cities. The recent loan of a relic of St Chad to an Anglican cathedral is one example of the diocese’s ecumenical witness.
