What we do

The Schools Singing Programme brings sacred music into our Catholic primary and secondary schools. Children learn the great repertoire of the Church, from plainchant to polyphony to contemporary settings, and sing it in school assemblies, school Masses, and at the great diocesan liturgies in Shrewsbury Cathedral. The programme works with schools, parishes and the Cathedral music team to form a generation of confident young singers in the Catholic tradition.
